3 provinces, 2 HUCs in CL with new police directors

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – There are new police directors in three provinces and two highly-urbanized cities in Central Luzon.

Police Regional Director PBGen. Matthew Baccay said the reshuffle of commanders, which became effective January 7, was part of the routine system in the Philippine National Police (PNP) wherein those who already met the more than one year of tenure as unit commanders will be relieved from the position.

PCol. Romell Velasco has been appointed as Acting Provincial Director of Bataan Police Provincial Office, PCol. Rommel Ochave as Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office and PCol. Jess Mendez as Acting Provincial Director of Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office.

Moreover, PCol. Diosdado Fabian has been appointed as Acting City Director of Angeles City Police Office and PCol. Carlito Grijaldo as Acting City Director of Olongapo City Police Office.

“The movement of our officers will ensure a more balanced, efficient and productive leadership,” Baccay said.

“PNP wants to make sure that it is putting the right person in the right job, where they could perform their best in serving the community,” he added.
