Clark City Marathon Finale Draws 4,900 Runners

CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark City Marathon (CCM) Finale thundered through the roads of Clark Freeport Zone on Sunday, bringing together over 4,900 runners from across the country — and even beyond — in a spectacular celebration of endurance, unity, and community spirit.

Starting at Filinvest Mimosa+ and held on October 26, 2025, runners coursed through a route that was essentially a tour of Clark — passing through M.A. Roxas Avenue, the Clark International Airport, and even the breathtaking Sacobia Bridge, before looping back under the cool morning skies. The course offered a scenic yet challenging test of stamina, showcasing Clark’s wide, runner-friendly avenues and its natural beauty.

The finale capped off the Clark City Marathon series, which earlier featured the CCM Sundown and CCM 32 events. Each leg has drawn a growing number of participants, solidifying the CCM as one of Central Luzon’s most anticipated running events.

Organizers and supporters hailed this year’s turnout as the biggest yet, reflecting how the marathon has evolved into more than just a race — it has become a movement celebrating health, perseverance, and local pride.

“Beyond the numbers, what makes this event special is the community that has formed around it,” organizers said. “Clark has truly become a home for runners of all ages and backgrounds.”

The Clark City Marathon Finale once again underscored the Freeport’s status as a premier sports and tourism destination, where fitness, camaraderie, and passion for running continue to thrive.
