Gov Delta gives cash, food aid to Fernandinos
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco led the distribution of cash assistance and food packs to some indigent residents of the city on Friday, January 27 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.
A total of 1,198 beneficiaries attended the program. Each received P3,000 cash assistance and food packs comprising five kilos of rice, five cans of sardines, and five cans of corned beef.
Cynthia Cortez, 57 years old, a housewife from Barangay San Felipe expressed utmost gratitude for the assistance extended to them.
“Out of my ten children, only one is currently studying. Because of Gov Delta’s help, we get to survive challenges from medical to financial needs,” Cortez shared.
The said assistance is part of the programs of the provincial government for the needy Kapampangans.
“We at the City Government fully support and cooperate with Governor Delta and Vice Gov Nanay to deliver public service to more deserving Fernandinos,” said City Councilor Brenz Gonzales.
Former 3rd District Board Member Rosve Henson and Former City Councilor Dein Henson also graced the event to express their support for the programs of Gov. Delta.
