DPWH completes brgy plaza rehab in Gabaldon
CABANATUAN CITY — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the rehabilitation of public plaza at barangay Bagong Sikat in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.
It was implemented by DPWH Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office.
“The P6.7 million project includes construction of a perimeter fence and drainage system,” District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad disclosed.
Lighting fixtures were also installed inside and outside the public space.
“At the very center of the 1,893-square meter, brick-paved plaza is a newly constructed water fountain that we know the kids will love,” he added.
About three residents of the village now have a well-lit and safe place to hold their community events.
