DPWH completes school building in Nueva Ecija
CABANATUAN CITY — The Department of Public Works and Highways completed a one-storey building at La Fuente Elementary School (LFES) in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
It was implemented by Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office.
District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad said the newly constructed facility was designed to be used as additional teaching spaces for Grades 3 and 4.
“Our office is committed in providing basic structures that will meet the need for additional classrooms and at the same time improve the learning experiences of students,” he stressed.
In behalf of the beneficiaries, LFES Principal Digna Roa explained the positive impact of the project to students and teachers.
From the Army Type Building which was often flooded during rainy season, according to Roa, the students now have a conducive learning building with lights and electric fans.
Some P4.8 million was earmarked for the infrastructure under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
