Mayor Pogi delivers more shoes, supplies to city’s public schools
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on September 29, 2022 personally delivers the free shoes, tshirts, and bags with school supplies to 5,488 public school students from Angeles City National Trade School.
Joining Mayor Lazatin during the distribution are Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, JC Aguas, Dan Lacson, Jay Sangil, Raco Del Rosario, Marino Bañola, Edu Pamintuan and Alex Indiongco.
The distribution of items to the other public schools and day care centers will follow suit.
Around 100,000 pairs of free shoes, t-shirts, bags, and school supplies will be personally delivered by Mayor Lazatin to the 53 public schools and 76 day care centers via schedule.
With the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, members of the Gender and Development Office, City Nutrition Office, Angeles City Emergency Command Center, General Services Office, and City Engineer’s Office join and assist Mayor Lazatin in the set distribution.
One of the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education, saying “No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education.”
