TEAM LAZATIN’S LITTLE SUPPORTER
As Team Lazatin makes the rounds in Barangay Agapito Del Rosario on March 31, a young resident of the barangay shows re-electionist Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. an old picture of them, taken on the campaign trail back in 2019 when Lazatin ran for his first term as City Mayor.
Under the Lazatin administration, the City Government has implemented several programs for the welfare of young Angeleños.
76 Daycare centers received aircons and TV while P5 million was allocated for the repair of daycare centers in the city.
To assist in online classes, 58,000 tablets were distributed to public school students from Grades 4 to 12 and 700 wi-fi access points were established in the 33 barangays of the city for internet connectivity.
53 public schools were also given risographs to assist with module production.
Likewise, in 2021, 7,745 infants received BCG Vaccine; 5,319 infants received Hepa B Vaccine; 5,751 infants received up to 3rd dose of Oral Polio Vaccine; 6,697 infants received Inactivated Polio Vaccine; 7,043 infants received up to 3rd dose of Pentavalent Vaccine; 6,337 infants received up to 3rd dose of Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine; 6,629 infants received up to 2nd dose of Measles Vaccine; 7,264 children aged 1-9 years old received deworming medicine; and 7,096 Grade 1 students, 2,446 Grade 4 students, and 4,458 Grade 7 students received MR-TD Vaccine. Joining Lazatin during the house-to-house campaign is his running mate, re-electionist Vice Mayor Vicky Vega, and the entire slate of councilor-aspirants running under Team Lazatin – new hopefuls Rodelio Mamac Jr., Ron Pineda, and CJ Ponce; as well as re-electionist Councilors JC Parker-Aguas, Marino “Niknok” Bañola, Joseph Alfie “Doc Alfie” Bonifacio, Raco Del Rosario, Dan Lacson, Jay Sangil, and Atty. Arvin “Pogs” Suller.
