DPWH to construct P10-M multipurpose building in Baler
BALER, Aurora – The construction of a three-storey multipurpose building in Barangay 3 in Baler here, worth P10 million, is set to commence, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
DPWH Aurora District Engineering Office Construction Chief Benelito Pascua said the infrastructure is funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act, and is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days.
“The entire building has a total size of 390 square meters and its first floor will serve as the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare & Development with amenities such as a lobby, comfort room, pantry, stock room and office spaces,” Pascua shared.
Moreover, the Barangay VAW Desk and the Barangay Health Center are located on the 2nd floor.
Office of the Barangay Captain and session hall, on the other hand, is on the third floor.
