DPWH completes 8 multipurpose buildings in Nueva Ecija
CABANATUAN CITY – The Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a total of eight multipurpose buildings in Nueva Ecija funded under the Local Infrastructure Program of the 2021 General Appropriations Act.
District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad disclosed that the newly-built structures are located in barangays Niyugan in Jaen, Sinasajan in Peñaranda, Nieves in San Leonardo, and Padolina in General Tinio; and barangay San Anton in San Leonardo, Sta. Cruz in Gapan City, and Bagong Buhay and San Josef in Cabanatuan City.
“These multipurpose buildings are often used to provide educational and social services to the communities, and as venues for various activities such as medical and dental missions, seminars, mass vaccination site, sports and other social activities,” Trinidad said.
DPWH earmarked a total of P33.8 million for these facilities.
