DFA Pampanga accepts clients via online appointment

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Pampanga Consular Office, while not accepting walk-ins, will now be accommodating clients through its online appointment system.

DFA Pampanga Administrative Officer Jonathan Tolentino said they are prioritizing those who are under the Courtesy Lane or senior citizens, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and children seven years old and below.

“We are still receiving a huge number of applicants despite the pandemic especially on our Courtesy Lane. The earliest time we could cater to regulars, or those not belonging in the said lane, is already in the month of March,” he said.

Qualified applicants under the courtesy lane are encouraged to send appointment requests via email at rco-pampanga@oca.dfa.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, Tolentino shared that clients who opt to apply, renew, or change lost passports may book their appointment at passport.gov.ph/appointment, and bring their birth certificate, one valid identification card, and marriage contract (if married).

“There is a delay in the delivery of passports given that the courier is affected by travel restrictions enforced amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We advise our applicants who are expecting their passport deliveries to connect to us. Email your full name, transaction number, and tracking number so that we could connect you to our main office,” he furthered.

The public may also track their passports by accessing the website at https://tracker.passport.gov.ph

Also, DFA said clients who are unable to visit their office during the time of their schedule won’t be required to repeat the appointment process as they will still be accommodated given that it is within the day of their appointment slot.

Those who would not be able to come on the date and time that their slot is given should send to DFA a proof of emergency or urgent travel such as medical certificate, valid working visa or permanent residence card for Overseas Filipino Workers returning overseas, enrolment confirmation or acceptance letter from schooling institution, and others for evaluation. (MJSC/JLDC-PIA 3)
