DSWD builds P1.1-M isolation facility in Anao
TARLAC CITY – A P1.1-million isolation facility will be constructed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in its AMOR Village in Anao, Tarlac.
DSWD Regional Director Marites Maristela said the construction is pursuant to an agency directive that mandates all residential care centers and facilities to put-up a quarantine facility for staff and residents.
“Having this isolation facility is another venue for us to give more efficient and effective service delivery as part of our response to the pandemic,” she added.
The isolation facility, which will be built in a 48.38-square meter lot, has regular and Persons with Disability-friendly rooms, which will be available to staff and residents who need to undergo quarantine.
Each room will be equipped with a bed, wooden desk, chair, sofa, water dispenser and other amenities.
