CDC, Clark locators extend aid to victims of typhoon ‘Odette’

UNITY AMIDST CALAMITY. Clark Development Corporation (CDC) through its Corporate Social Responsibility Division (CSRPD) recently turned over relief goods and rehabilitation materials for the victims of Typhoon Odette to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark Development Corporation, along with various locators inside this Freeport, donated relief goods and rehabilitation materials to the victims of typhoon “Odette” in the Visayas and Mindanao.

Through CDC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, numerous donations poured in, including food supplies such as noodles, beverages, rice, canned goods, and other miscellaneous groceries.  Aside from these, essential items like bedsheets, towels, sleeping clothes, and diapers were also donated by Clark locators.

Meanwhile, CDC provided construction materials and tools worth P350,000 to help the affected families in rehabilitating their homes. These materials were also complemented by 430 pieces of GI sheets amounting to P150, 000 donated by Nanox Philippines, Inc.

The CDC, headed by its President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan, expressed gratitude to all the investors who extended help to the communities devastated by the typhoon.

Some of the locators who supported the donation drive are Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc., Nanox Philippines, Inc., Shore 360 Inc., Demagus Trading Corporation, Aderans Philippines Inc., Pishon Clark Philippines, Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD), Somang Global Clark Corporation, and Wontechphil International Corporation.
