Hustle Rising Suns champs of Sinag Tala Asya

The Hustle Rising Suns emerged as champions in the Sinag Liga Asya B2001 division, solidifying their position as an up-and-coming basketball team in their division.

Led by Coach John Ross dela Cruz, the team displayed skill, teamwork, and determination, and shone a spotlight on the talent nurtured within their training program, the Hustle Basketball Skills Lab.

The inaugural season of Sinag Liga Asya B2001 division proved to be a platform for Hustle Basketball Skills Lab to showcase their mettle with Coach Dela Cruz at the helm. Through skills and technical training, the team headed by Luis Pablo and Daniel Padilla, to name a few, the B2001 division (23 years old and below) served as the ultimate test.

According to Dela Cruz, he taught the players to showcase their basketball IQ, lightning-fast reflexes, and deep-rooted passion with each game.

“One of the original plans of Hustle Basketball Skills Lab is to discover basketball players through our grassroots development program. Joining Sinag Liga Asya is a platform for us to test the mettle of the players who stayed with us despite various offers from different teams, ” said Coach dela Cruz, also the founder and lead trainer of Hustle Basketball Skills Lab, a private training facility located in Floridablanca, Pampanga.

“Our journey in winning the championship was not easy. I had to deal with my players who came from different teams and backgrounds. I have to put everything in order and make sure that these players will be ready to play their role minus their egos, ” shared dela Cruz.

At the heart of the team’s success lies their commitment to player optimization, Dela Cruz, a US-certified coach.

He technically designed the training program and has been consistently training his mastery in coaching. He said he is now focused on honing players’ fundamental skills, strategic thinking, and mental toughness. 

According to Dela Cruz, the championship title is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Hustle Basketball Skills Lab community – from the players who sacrificed countless hours of practice, to the coaches who provided unwavering support, everyone contributed to this historic achievement.

He said the win has undoubtedly inspired a new generation of basketball enthusiasts to pursue their dreams with passion and perseverance.

“The future looks incredibly bright for the Hustle Rising Suns. With a solid foundation built on talent, teamwork, and a winning mentality, the team is poised to continue their dominance in the basketball scene and inspire countless others to reach for greatness,” Dela Cruz said. (PR)
