Kambal Festival trade fair hits ₱168,939 sales in 3 days
ANGELES CITY — The Kambal Festival trade fair featuring gawang Angeleño products of the city’s One Town One Product store has hit ₱168,939 in three-day sales.
The trade fair garnered ₱45,674 on its first day, ₱69,973 on its second day and ₱53,292 yesterday.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. sees this as a positive development in the continuous promotion and support to locally-made products, which is among his administration’s flagship projects.
The trade fair, which was formally opened last October 17, 2022, will be up until Oct. 26, 2022 from 8 AM to 8 PM at the Plaza Anghel, Museo Ning Angeles.
Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel is supervising the trade fair with Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer-in-Charge Irish Bonus-Llego.
“Our goal is to assist our local merchants in their business and livelihood. Kaya naman naisipan po natin na maging part ng celebration ng Fiestang Kuliat 2022 ay itong trade fair natin,” Manuel said.
Calaguas further thanked the supporters of the gawang Angeleño products.
“Patunay lamang po ito na kayang-kayang makipagsabayan ng mga produktong gawang Angeleño,” Calaguas shared.
For her part, Bonus-Llego said that all the earnings of the trade fair will be given to the merchants.
Among the OTOP member local enterprises who participated in the trade fair are Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts, K’s Creations, Tamayuq, JJBMS, Chilona, Izzamway, Teresa’s Mashroom, Jaq’s Kitchen, Modesta Empanada, Corndog, Overnasi, Nature’s Harvest, Samarino Accessories, Woodcraft by Madison, Tabak’s, Raj, Cutud Weavers, EllenTurla, Flores Handicraft, and Organics Farmers.
