Lazatin thanks Angeleños, seniors for overwhelming support

ANGELES CITY – On Day 5 of the campaign trail, Team Lazatin was once again met with a cheerful welcome, this time by residents of Barangay Lourdes Northwest.

Re-electionist Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” G. Lazatin, Jr. conveyed his gratitude for the overwhelming outpour of support he has been witnessing in the barangays of this city.

Lazatin, together with his running mate Vice Mayor Vicky Vega and the rest of Team Lazatin, have been conducting house-to-house campaigns and stage meetings in various barangays since March 25.

“We start our house-to-house campaign very early, alas-sais ng umaga andun na kami,” said Lazatin. “Nakakataba ng puso na makitang lumalabas talaga ng bahay ang mga taga-barangay para salubungin kami kahit gaano kaaga.”

“Lalo na po ang ating mga senior citizen,” added Lazatin, “Natutuwa po ako na mula nung una kong pagkandidato, hanggang ngayon, parati po silang nakaantabay at nakasuporta sa akin.”

Since he started his political career, Lazatin has been committed to advocating for the welfare of senior citizens.

Under the Lazatin administration, 44,000 Registered Senior Citizens yearly received social pension and vitamins since 2020. In 2021, 12,325 Senior Citizens also received Flu Vaccine and 2,642 Senior Citizens received Pneumococcal Vaccine. The Lazatin administration also provided free cataract operation for Senior Citizens in partnership with Cong. Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II.

Also joining Lazatin during the house-to-house campaign in Lourdes Northwest is the entire slate of councilor-aspirants running under Team Lazatin – new hopefuls Rodelio Mamac Jr., Ron Pineda, and CJ Ponce; as well as re-electionist Councilors JC Parker-Aguas, Marino “Niknok” Bañola, Joseph Alfie “Doc Alfie” Bonifacio, Raco Del Rosario, Dan Lacson, Jay Sangil, and Atty. Arvin “Pogs” Suller.

Permits were obtained and public health protocols were observed during the house-to-house campaign, in accordance with COMELEC Guidelines.
