Gov Pineda offers P500-K reward for info on Asban’s killer
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has offered a P500,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect/s in the death of Guagua village chief Ranier Asban.
This was confirmed by Pampanga police director Col. Robin Sarmiento in an interview posted on social media.
“Kung sino man po ang alam ‘nyo na may buong tattoo sa paa… pakibigay alam na lamang po sa kapulisan ‘nyo para maimbita po natin at makapanayam tungkol sa pagpaslang kay Barangay Captain Asban,” Sarmiento added.
Sarmiento added the police are currently conducting an investigation and still determining the motive behind Asban’s killing.
On Monday night past 9 p.m., Asban was gunned down by a still unidentified suspect while attending to a phone call at a gasoline station in Barangay Sto. Nino.
The village chief sustained three gunshot wounds, hitting him in the head, cheek and arm.
