Hann Casino Resort opens in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT – Dubbed as the “millionaire’s playground”, the Hann Casino Resort held its soft opening inside this Freeport on Dec 15.
Hann Philippines Inc. Chairman and CEO Daesik Han was joined by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Chairman Edgardo Pamintuan, and Hann Philippines Inc. Assistant Vice President for Corporate Planning, Development and Communication Agnes Liwanag during the ribbon cutting ceremonies.
With them were Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Finance Mitchell Estacio, Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management and Engineering Vic Sia, Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Surveillance and Security Jan Andres Struwig, and Swissotel Clark and Widus Hotel General Manager Tarek Aouini.
CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan also attended the said event and expressed his elation over the development of the integrated resort and casino inside this Freeport.
The establishment of the integrated resort and casino is part of the expansion project of the Widus Group. It was mentioned that the soft launch is a component of their development project’s initial phase.
An addition to various tourism attractions in this Freeport, Hann Casino Resort will offer guests some exhilarating activities and experiences. These include gaming, golfing, nature and outdoors, entertainment, and hospitality in an opulent resort environment. It also features state-of-the-art facilities and amenities, dining outlets, and retail shopping. Meanwhile, its casino boasts some 200 gaming tables and 800 slot machines.
The complex also comprises the Clark Marriott Hotel, and the Swissotel Clark among others. Once fully operational, their entire expansion project is expected to provide around 1,000 employment opportunities.
