Bongabon, Nueva Ecija – The Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) has recognized the blended vaccination scheme of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. which resulted to the achievement of herd immunity in the city.

CLMA President Carmela Reyes-Estrope has awarded a plaque to Mayor Lazatin for having successfully launched the “Vaccination on Wheels” or “Ronda Bakuna” and “Sundo Bakuna.”

“Ronda Bakuna” uses mobile clinics that visit barangays to vaccinate families while “Sundo Bakuna” ferries residents in bigger barangays using six Philippine Rabbit buses to be vaccinated at the City College of Angeles (CCA) and Angeles City National High School (ACNHS).

Some 265,533 had already been fully vaccinated while 322,660 had already received their first dose. Another 1,037 had already received booster shots. The city has a population of 462,928.
