BOC-Clark holds annual Christmas gift-giving activity

CLARK – The Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark conducted a Food Pantry, Feeding & Gift-Giving Activity at Sitio Target Integrated School recently, consistent with its annual Christmas Charity Activity and as part of its social responsibility program.

Over 200 Aeta school children from Grades 1 to 7 and their families were given grocery loot bags, vegetables, food pantry goods, slippers and lunch boxes during the Christmas Charity Activity.

With smiles on their faces, Port of Clark personnel, headed by District Collector Alexandra Lumontad, distributed the gifts to the children.

Aries De Vera, school teacher, expressed his gratitude to the Port of Clark for always including the children of Sitio Target in its regular gift-giving drive and added that these gifts will benefit the children and their families.

A Certificate of Appreciation was also awarded to the Port of Clark by De Vera.

In her closing remarks, District Collector Lumontad recognized her personnel for organizing and actively participating in the port’s charity drive.

She likewise stated that the said activity is the port’s way of giving back to the community to gratefully cap up the year after surpassing the collection target and for all the various feat that the port has accomplished for the year.
