AC sets record of 10,531 inoculation on Nov. 4

ANGELES CITY — The local government here under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. set a new record of largest number of vaccinees in a single day last Thursday, Nov. 4. 

The city government has vaccinated 10,531, surpassing the earlier record of 10,183 set on September 23. 

Mayor Lazatin said this is a milestone for the city as it marches towards herd immunity. 

To date, a total of 255,540 already received their first dose of vaccines while 185,644 are now fully vaccinated.

Mayor Lazatin has cited the vaccination team consisting of 400 working staff for the fast-paced vaccination drive. 

The vaccination team is led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program. 

Members of the team include Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and health workers and staff from Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center led by Dr. Froilan Canlas, City Health Office led by Dr. Verona Guevarra, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office led by Rodolfo Simeon, Gender and Development Office led by Mina Cabiles, Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office headed by Irish Bonus-Llego, City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Edna Duaso, Angeles City Tourism Auxiliary and Angeles City Barangay Outreach led by Michael Lising, Mayor’s Office Record’s Section Head Jermaine Jam Aguila, City Engineer Office headed by Engr. Donato Dizon, Chrysalene Cunanan of Quality Management System, Business Permit and Licensing Division headed by Evangeline Malonzo, Angeles City Tourism Office led by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, Blood Bank led by Jennifer Balatbat, Angeles City Trafffic Development Office led by Francis Pangilinan, City Nutrition Office led by Donatila Guanzon, City College of Angeles, and  Angeles City Police Office.
