PAYMAYA EXPANDS NETWORKTO 90K+ TOUCHPOINTS

PAYMAYA has expanded its cash-in channels to over 90,000 touchpoints nationwide – the most ex- tensive network offered by an e-wallet in the country. Over 60 percent, or 55,000 cash points, offer free cash-in services to PayMaya users, including BPI online banking (via linked account), Ministop, and Smart Pada- la. Allowing Filipinos to put funds in their e-wallets without additional charges lower the barriers to digital payments adoption and usage.

PayMaya’s touchpoints that allow users to cash-in up to P10,000 for free monthly now include top supermarkets and leading establishments. These are: 7-Eleven, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket, The SM Store, Landers, Super8, Southstar Drug, Bayad Center, Easymart, EC Pay, LBC Express, No Brand, Palawan Pawnshop, Posible, RD Pawnshop, Savemore, Shopwise and The Marketplace.

PayMaya users can also choose to cash in to their PayMaya accounts using online channels like mobile banking via Instapay or linking any Visa, Mastercard, or JCB cards to their account. “We are breaking the barriers to digital payments adoption by offering the most extensive cash in chan- nels,” PayMaya Philippines President Shailesh Baidwan reiterated.

The e-wallet can be used to purchase daily essentials at any of over 360 brands featured on the PayMaya Mall, on shopping sites, or go-to establishments. Users can also access and pay 600 billers on the PayMaya app or send money even to those without a bank account through Smart Padala. PayMaya is one of the leading payments processors for “everyday” merchants in key industries such as retail, food, transportation, utilities, and eCommerce.

It provides more than 38 million registered users access to financial services through its consumer platforms. Customers can cash in, pay, cash out, and remit through over 300,000 digital touchpoints nationwide. Its Smart Padala by PayMaya network of 55,000 partner agent touchpoints nationwide serves as last-mile financial hubs in communities, providing the unbanked and underserved access to digital services.
